✢ I shape words into texts, visual works and things in-between. Sometimes I translate the words of others, sometimes I publish them.
✳ I don’t have social media, but I write public bulletins twice a year or so to share news, thoughts, and so forth. You can sign up by sending me an email (noibmal.enahpets).
✼ I like old photos, blueprints, maps, climbing, handwritten notes, arrows, brutalist architecture, pouches and cases, weird Unicode characters, cooking, electronic music, very tiny things, tracing paper, playing cards, diagrams, instruction manuals, torn pieces of paper, cycling, and lists.
❇ After studying philosophy and literature, I did a practice-based PhD in creative writing. I am an alumni of the École Normale Supérieure de Paris and I hold an agrégation in modern literature. Outside of academia, I took part in several programmes, including Provisional School For Nothing and Fieldnotes Saturday School.
❋ I am currently based in Paris Siena Cambridge Sheffield London, in an old warehouse by the canal.
✽ I live my life according to degrowth principles: caring over consuming, repairing over replacing, sharing over owning. I am interested in communal ways of living and I advocate for a slower and better relationship to technology, enhancing human connection rather than replacing it. I attend the London Permacomputing Club, where I met Ana Meisel, with whom I co-founded a low-resource, sustainability-focused web design, development and consultation practice called Subslime Studio.

Its carbon footprint is very low and it is hosted on a green server in France. The current version was made in the summer 2026, first in Paris with my friend Alban, at night, in the garden, then in London, in a small, pink bedroom.
