I write poetry and hybrid texts, often exploring memory, nostalgia and loss through the lens of the body and the inhabited space. I am interested in loops and cycles, networks of signs, underlying connections and coincidences between things.
Publishing
Since 2020, I coedit Point de chute, a French contemporary poetry review. In 2021, I ran Canal, a monthly typographical poster featuring one poem translated from French into English and one from English into French. Canal was freely distributed online as a printable PDF; physical copies can be found at the National Poetry Library in London and at the Centre international de poésie Marseille in France.
Translations
Most of my translation work focuses on contemporary poetry in Romanian, Italian and English. In the past few years, I translated 04:00 Canti domestiques by Radu Vancu from Romanian into French and more recently, I translated Shadow Dogs & Tree by Natalie Whittaker from English into French.
Translated works
Some of my texts have been published abroad: a selection of poems was translated into Italian by Elena Casadio Tozzi for Lo Spazio Letterario and another poem was translated into Romanian by Linda Maria Baros in Luceafarul de dimineata.
Readings
I have done public readings of my writing in various places, including the CipM (Centre international de poésie Marseille), EXC Librairie, DOC!, Maison de la Poésie de Poitiers, Institut Culturel Roumain de Paris, L'Ours et la Vieille Grille, Aux Pianos/La Guillotine, Histoire de l'Oeil, and many others.
I was also invited to do readings and give talks in festivals, including Poets in Transylvania, FILIT, Moins les murs, Paname Bouquine, Vienne la poésie...
